I hope you will take no objection to my prayer in

view of the fact that the Authorities in Kopenhagen by examination of my papers declared that I never have been a German subject as my father was Danish and I was born only in Germany. On sècount of this fact the banish Government handed) over to me the enclosed paper of Danish nationality.

When war broke out I was in Bangkok where I was interned in 1917 and deported to Ahmednagar later.

As I am entirely without funds now I shall esteem it

a great favour if you would kindly forward the money in

question at your earliest convenience.

Enclosed please find copy of my Danish nationality. Trusting to hear favourable and thanking you in

anticipation.

I have the honour to be,

şir,

Your most obedient servant,

sa.

A. Petersen,
